Brian Arnold

Brian began his architecture career in 1998 as the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Gwathmey Siegel Architects and Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer in Los Angeles, and New York City. He worked on significant projects like the renovation of the Yale School of Art & Architecture and The American University in Dubai. His most meaningful accomplishment was participating in the World Trade Center Site Design Competition with Richard Meier, Gwathmey, Eisenman, and Holl. Since 2005, he has managed custom residential projects in the U.S. and internationally, in places like Singapore, Australia, Puerto Rico, Manhattan, Aspen, Austin, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

Originally from Wisconsin, Brian began his career as a mason specializing in historic restoration in 1989. His passion for natural stone and photography has always inspired his work. In 2007, he moved to Seattle, where he became an avid sailor. He recently completed a 4,019 km Atlantic crossing as part of the 2023-2024 Clipper Round the World race. He is currently training for the 2025 Van Isle 360 International Yacht Race.

Brian is an active member of the Seattle community, volunteering at the Center for Wooden Boats to support maritime heritage. In his free time, he enjoys racing in the Puget Sound and traveling with his wife and two sons.
