Brett Light
Owner’s Representative
Brett brings over two decades of extensive leadership experience in project management. His most recent role involved serving as an Owner’s Representative and senior consultant, guiding the development of several state-of-the-art healthcare facilities. His clientele included prominent institutions such as Stanford Healthcare, John Muir Health, Sutter Health, and Dignity Health. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and leveraging years of international project management experience, Brett guided the design, construction, FF&E coordination, and move-in phases, thereby ensuring the delivery of award-winning centers of excellence for operational teams, medical providers, and patients alike. Brett also served as project director for various technical implementations including data center design and integrating wireless device workflows into acute healthcare operations, including a first in the nation solution for which he was invited to present nationally. While at Stanford he also served as Director of Optimization, leading an innovation team to evaluate and implement best practice efficiency designs and improving revenue solutions.
Previously, Brett spearheaded international humanitarian building initiatives, serving as both a donor representative and project leader to construct essential structures including homes, medical centers, schools, and orphanages across Central and South America, the Caribbean, India, and Nepal. Earlier in his career, he established a bespoke estate management service in Alaska, where he managed off-the-grid custom homes for high-net-worth clients.
Raised in Montana, Brett gained foundational mountain west construction experience during high school summers, working under the guidance of a leading area builder. Brett holds a biological science degree along with project management certifications. Currently, he and his wife reside in Park City, Utah, where their shared pursuits include backcountry hiking, mountain biking, alpine skiing, travel, wildlife photography, and volunteering at local pet shelters.
