Ben Stewart
Interim Business Operations Strategist
Ben started his career as an aerospace engineer before moving into business, starting as a management consultant at McKinsey then moving into product roles at startups and more established companies like Patagonia. Most recently, Ben led product development for sustainable materials at Checkerspot, working with major brands like Nike and Oakley to develop bio-based polyurethanes.
Ben is excited to bring his expertise in strategy, operations, analytics, and product development to Peak. His first priority will be supporting Saul’s transition into his new adventure over the next month while at the same time identifying opportunities to support Peak’s recent growth and future plans.
Ben grew up in San Francisco and after a few stops in Boston, Beijing, and Seattle, he has been in the Reno/Tahoe area for about 12 years with his partner Julie. He enjoys spending time out in the mountains skiing, biking, and trail running. His Schipperke (15lb dog) named Raley usually joins him on his outdoor adventures. Ben loves food and drink, and has recently been into making Sichuanese food and Tiki drinks, and also very excited to geek out on brewing coffee.
